Description;

This is an excellent example of the famous Parker Duofold Fountain pen. This is the Senior Model, a large pen with a great deal of presence. It is finished in Black and Burgundy Marble. This material was particularly stable and has survived beautifully with no signs of the fading seen on pens made in other colours.

The pen dates from around 1935 and was made in Canada for export into Europe. The plating to the cap band and clip is good with some light wear at the edges. The imprint on the barrel is still clear and legible. 

The nib is superb! it is a lovely smooth Medium and is an absolute delight to write with. The pen has been fully serviced and it now works perfectly. The nib is date coded 25 for the second quarter of 1935 which dates it quite accurately.

This is a prestigious pen in excellent condition. The nib is superb!
