Description;

The Parker Duofold Special was first introduced in the late 1920's as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The pens were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The 'Special' Duofold sat between the Junior and the Senior pens. They are the hardest of the Duofold Streamlined range to find nowadays.

The Lapis Lazuli finish is clear with no discolouration at all, normally there is a slight darkening of the barrel compared to the cap but not on these! The imprint on the fountain Pen is clear and deep and there are only very minor wear marks. The original price and model sticker is still attached to the top of the pencil - a sure sign of very little use.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced. The pencil works perfectly and takes 1.2mm leads.

The nib is a lovely Fine which writes beautifully. These are lovely pens and very scarce in this sort of condition. The size and colour make this a very desirable pen set.
