This is a good example of a Conway Stewart Propelling Pencil which was produced around 1950. It is finished in the very desirable Cracked Ice pattern.

The imprint is clear and legible and the pencil is in very good overall condition with only minor wear marks. The mechanism works fine and the plating to the rings and nozzle is still in good order.
