Description.

This is a Parker 51 Vacumatic finished in Dark Maroon with a nice ding free Rolled Gold cap. It was made in Canada (for export to Europe) around 1945.

The Vacumatic 51's are a lot less common than the later aerometric models and use the pump system borrowed from the earlier Vacumatic range.

The cap is finished in rolled gold in the parallel lines pattern and is in excellent condition with no dings and only light marks.

This is the Blue Diamond version, an accolade given only to the top of the range pens and signifying a lifetime warranty. 

The pen has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted. It is fitted with a lovely Medium nib and is in overall excellent condition with light wear marks and scratches commensurate with light use.
