This is a good example of a Conway Stewart Propelling Pencil which was produced around 1950. It is finished in the lovely looking Burgundy Marble.

The imprint is clear and legible, and the pencil is in excellent condition with only minor wear marks. The mechanism works fine and the plating to the clip, ring and nozzle is still in good order.
