Description;

Esterbrook enjoyed an excellent reputation as an American manufacturer of well made economical Fountain Pens. Their use of thick plastics for the barrels and Stainless Steel for their Clips and Nibs meant that the pens were extremely robust. Even now, 60 years later it is rare to find an "Estie" with any corrosion problems.

The Relief models were made for Esterbrook in the UK by Conway Stewart and they are of a similar high quality. This is the No.2-L, the lever filler, other Relief pens had button fillers and there were also eye droppers available.

The pen is made from Black Celluloid with gold filled trim to the clip and cap ring. The Broad Oblique Italic nib is an absolute delight.

It is in overall excellent condition with no deep scratches or marks. The plating to the clip and lever box is in good condition with only minor wear to the ball on the clip. It has been fully serviced and is ready to go. It is supplied in its original box.
