Description.

This is a very nice example of the Parker Duofold Vacumatic Senior, known by collectors as the "Duovac". It was made in the USA in 1944. The Duovac is a very attractive pen, it has the standard Burgundy Marble colour interspersed with dark grey vertical stripes. This is the later version of the Duovac with the plastic pump filler. 

The pen is in good condition throughout with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. The gold plating is in good condition with some wear to the edges and top of the clip. The imprint on the barrel is clear and legible.

The diaphragm has been replaced, and the pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib writes smoothly with a lovely Extra Fine Line.
