Description;

The Parker Duofold Senior was first introduced in the late 50's as part of the Duofold Aerometric range. The range consisted of the Slimfold with the No.5 nib, the Junior with the larger No.10 nib, the standard Duofold and the Demi with the No.25 nib, the Senior with the No.35 nib and, finally, the prestigious Maxima, fitted with the huge No.50 nib. The range was produced right through to the 1970's and they were extremely popular because of their reliability and quality.

This is a mint example of the Senior, dating from around 1960. It is in exceptional condition with virtually no wear and an unused aerometric filling system. This pen may have been dipped but it has never been filled!

It is finished in black with gold filled trim to the clip and cap ring. There is no wear to the gold plated areas and the imprint is as fresh as it was when it came out of the factory. I have dipped it and it writes with a beautiful smooth Medium line.

The nib is the large No.35, 14ct gold and in perfect condition.
