Description.

This is a really nice clean example of the Parker 51 Clutch Pencil finished in Burgundy with a Lustraloy Cap. It was made in the UK and is date coded for 1954. It is in excellent condition with only very minor marks and scratches commensurate with use.

This pencil matches the Aerometric range of fountain pens made between 1948 and 1975, this is the Clutch pencil actuated by pressing the cap, there were also rotary Propelling pencils available at the time.

The clutch mechanism works well and the pencil takes standard 0.9mm leads which are readily available.

It is 130mm in length.
