Description.

This is a fabulous example of the rare Gaviota Gigante Blackbird Self Filling Fountain Pen from the "Big Blackbird" range. The Gaviota Gigante (meaning Giant Seagull) is one of the larger Blackbird pens with a barrel diameter of 13mm. It is made from Celluloid finished in the wonderful looking Grey, Green and Black Marble. It dates from around 1935.

The imprint on the barrel is deep and clear and the pen is in excellent condition throughout.

The Fine Semi Flexible nib writes smoothly and gives a nice shape to your handwriting.

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write. This is a rare pen in fabulous condition.
