Description.

This is a fabulous example of this early Parker 51 Vacumatic Rotary style Propelling Pencil finished in Cordovan Brown with a Lustraloy Cap and a gold filled feathered clip. It is in excellent condition throughout with no wear to the plating and no dings. It was made in the USA around 1945.

This pencil matches the Parker 51 Vacumatic range of fountain pens made between 1942 and 1948, it is a rotary propelling pencil, actuated by turning the cap.

The mechanism works well with no slipping, and the pencil takes standard 0.9mm leads which are readily available.

It is 135mm in length.
