Description.

This is a lovely Parker 51 Vacumatic set finished in Black with Sterling Silver caps. The set consists of a Fountain Pen with a matching Propelling pencil.

Made in the USA, this is a very good example of this set which is date coded for 1947.

The pen is fitted with the reliable Vacumatic filling mechanism, borrowed from the earlier Vacumatic range of pens. It has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted.

It is fitted with a wonderful Fine nib and is in overall good condition with light wear marks and scratches commensurate with use. The Sterling Silver caps are in good condition with some minor marks.

The pencil uses standard 0.9mm leads which are still readily available.
