Description.

This is a lovely example of the desirable Parker 51 Double Jewel Vacumatic. The double jewel pens were only made in the USA between 1943 and 1947 and were fitted with the famous Blue Diamond clip signifying Parkers lifetime warranty. 

This is a lovely example, finished in Cedar Blue with a Rolled Gold Cap. The Blue Diamond clip and the top and bottom tassies are gold filled with the original jewels still present. The barrel imprint is quite worn and I would guess that the pen datres from around 1944.

The vacumatic filling system has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted. The nib is a Medium and the pen writes smoothly. The condition is confidently described as excellent, the pen has only very light wear marks throughout.

This is a lovely pen, desirable because of its history and rarity.
