Description;

I first came across Rotring Pens when I was at the old Engineering School in Hull back in the early 1980's. Part of the course was Technical Drawing and I really enjoyed it. I bought myself a Rotring Rapidograph and fell in love with the look and feel of the pen. The iconic 600 series wasn't introduced until a few years later but I fully understood why draughtsmen and Technical Illustrators found them so attractive. They are a perfect drawing pen, weighty and solid but capable of delicate fine lines. The 600 Newton Range, established in the late 1990's has taken over the mantle of the original 600 and the Lava finish has become extremely desirable.

This is the top of the range Newton Rollerball in the Lava finish, a kind of mottled grey with a slightly rough surface that is easy to grip. It is in near mint condition overall with hardly a mark on it. 

The pen uses standard Rotring refills.
