Description.

This is a fabulous example of this early Parker 51 Vacumatic Rotary style Propelling Pencil finished in Classic Black with a nice clean 1/10 16K Rolled Gold cap and a gold filled featthered clip. It is in excellent condition throughout with only very minor marks and scratches. There is a little wear to the plating at the base of the cap but no dings. It was made in the USA around 1948.

This pencil matches the Parker 51 Vacumatic range of fountain pens made between 1942 and 1948, it is a rotary propelling pencil, actuated by turning the cap.

The mechanism works well with no slipping, and the pencil takes standard 0.9mm leads which are readily available.

It is 135mm in length.
