Description.

This is a very nice example of the Parker Duofold Vacumatic Junior, known by collectors as the "Duovac". It was made in the USA in 1944. The Duovac is a very attractive pen, it has the standard Burgundy Marble colour interspersed with dark grey vertical stripes. This is the earlier version of the Duovac with the Streamlined pump filler. 

The pen is in excellent condition throughout with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. The gold plating is in good condition and the imprint on the barrel is clear and legible.

The diaphragm has been replaced and the pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib writes smoothly with a lovely Fine side of Medium Line.
