Description.

This is a lovely example of the hugely desirable Parker 51 Double Jewel Vacumatic. The double jewel pens were only made in the USA between 1943 and 1947 and were fitted with the famous Blue Diamond clip signifying Parkers lifetime warranty.

This rare pen is finished in Classic Black with a Rolled Gold Cap. The blue Diamond clip and the top and bottom tassies are gold filled with the original jewels still present. The barrel is marked "Made in the USA" and is date coded for 1946.

The vacumatic filling system has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted. The nib is an Extra Fine and the pen writes smoothly. The condition is excellent and the pen has only very light wear marks throughout.

This is a lovely pen, desirable because of its history and rarity, but also because of the colour and condition.
